# RFID Cards

This is a feature supported by some hardware that allow users to use an RFID card to start rentals. It works because each RFID card has its own unique ID that can be read by supported hardware when in close proximity and then sent to our servers to identify the user and start a rental if possible.

Click + **Add RFID Card** at the upper right side.  Add an RFID Card and fill in the Card ID field. You can also indicate the Card label field but this is optional and hit **Submit.**
