# How to change the location of a hardware unit?

1. Go to the Hardware page and click the hardware you want to change the location of. From the Details section, Click **"Edit".**\ <br>

2. On the Edit page, you will be able to select a new location. Click **Assigned Location** and choose your preference from the drop-down options. Once you have selected the correct location, click Save.
